Is there any way that we could search for a certain phrase within only the topics in which we have participated in?  I always use my View all posts page.  However it is has quite a few pages.  I was just wanting to know if there was any way that I could combine the view all posts and be able to search within just those topics?

Good idea. I'll ad it, but I may not be able to get to it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks,  I have lived without it for 2.5 years, even a couple months wouldn't kill me.

Give it try and let me know if this is what you wanted.

I just made another edit... if you post a link to your own results, others can view the same results.

When I asked about this feature, this is the thread I was looking for. I knew he had pinout in the subject. I just searched for pinout and selected Your Posts, it did not find it. I did not type pinout in the thread, I just knew he did. I don't know if you have it looking for pinout in my posts. I was wanting it to look for pinout in all threads in which I have participated. Does that make sense?

I guess a link to the thread would help. Thread

Also when I did the search it came up with one result, in which I could not find the word pinout anywhere in the post.    Results of Search

I was typing while you posted your last. What do you mean if I post a link to my results?

I'll have to give that some thought as to how it could be written to perform efficiently, if at all as you just described. Currently I have the new criteria searching for any keywords or phrases within your own posts. I like the output and it's definitely usable for future use.

Obviously remembering something about a post or topic makes it easier to find a topic in the search results. Searching for "delco pinout" only returned 9 results using this search criteria: https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/search_form.asp?fid=0&KW=delco+pinout&SI=PTS&SM=1&aid=1

Also, all results are sorted by the most recent post first.

So was I, heh. If someone clicks on the link you posted, they'll see the same results as you did for your own posts.

Just fixed it for all boolean functions to display your own results if you post a link when you search through your own posts.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you, but the search within your posts works great.  I use it often.  Thanks again.
