it would be pheneminal if you could setup a list, somewhat like the latest 100, that had the latest 100 posts with no replies. This way people like myself, who don't really post much to ask questions, could help people with info faster. I'm not sure if the forum code could be used to set this up easily. Would be cool if anybody here at 12volt knew how to do that. Or even be able to show the number of replies on the latest 100 list, I know that would be hard because it goes by the last post, not the original post and it would probably show the number of replies after the new post, which would always be zero.

That can be done. I'll write it this weekend, maybe later today (just got home from doing a home theater install and already started enjoying my weekend

), then post a link to it here and add it to the menu on the left. This will contain the last 100 topics with 0 replies. The only draw back I see is if the original member that posted the topic forgets something and replies to his own topic before anyone else does, but other than that , I think it's a good idea ;)

cool....thanx alot.. that will help alot with actual vehicle information requests. I apprecite your fast response, good work with this site, it really brings us all together like no other website does. You provide an invaluable service for veterans to newbies, it means alot to all of us.

hey that does seem like a good idea... I dont know about having 100 hundred of them...? That seems like it will have a lot of old topics.. i dont know, cool idea though.

Yes, it does bring up some very old topics and takes a while to load, however here's something I threw together that displays the last 100 topics and indicates the number of replies to the right of the topic. Topics with zero replies are shown in a shade of red. If you like it, let me know and I'll add a link to the menu.

The latest forum topic pages and links to them have been updated. The last 100 and 250 now display the number of replies for each topic instead of having separate pages with and without them . The last 500 and 1000 remain as there were and the last 100 with no replies has been added.
