I got an idea

Is there anyway to select NEW message since last login in the forums?  Instead of re-reading some and missing some new ones.. You know how installer minds are.. I forget what I went across my shop for and have to go back to what I was doing to remember.  now I'm trying to remember what I read on the internet last night!  Course, I may be babbling.. Had a root canal yestreday and high on pain medication... and a few beers just to kick it in..

Hi George, if you go to any of the "Last Post" pages  ( Last 100 • 250 • 500 ), the links will show as black instead of blue for the threads you've already read, however none of them will show differently if any additional posts have been made to those threads. If I can come up with something as you described, I'll post it here.

any updates on the e-mail notification? Mine has not worked in the longest time as a few other people here as well since the last post. That was a great feature to have especially letting you know when you get a response back and not forgeting where,when, and who you posted to.

Hi Sound Pressure, I rewrote the email notification this morning and I am receiving notifications to an outside email address under a different username. The new mail server seemed to be spazzing on relaying messages to any domain other than mine. If you have email notification set up for this thread, you should have received a message from "forums@the12volt.com" with the topic "the12volt.com Forum Post Notification". Please let me know if you've received it.

Koo, glad it's working for you again.  Any time you post, there is a radio button just below the textarea to check to recieve email notification whether it's for a new thread or a reply.
