 I need to know the color and location of the wire for the starter on an 08 gmc sierra 1500 pickup.  to hook up an ignition interlock i must cut this wire and hook it to an ignition interlock system.  need to know the location of the one wire which when you turn the key all the way forward it sends a signal to start the car and the easiest way to find it

The supplier of your interlocks has no info?

You can't interupt the ignition wire instead?

Got your message will give him a call.  The supplier has no info on the new 2008's yet are getting more complicated year by year
