Instead of trying to connect my Audiovox CCS-100 cruise control VSS and tach wires to my main ECU , which is hard to get to in a 1998 Corolla, I hooked them up to the proper spots on my instrument panel. Consult your a manual for your car. I was also able to get constant 12 volt, switched 12 volt and ground from there. For the brake switch I found the wire that ran to the back which was at the left kick panel instead of trying to tap it off the switch directly.
