I can't find the wire for the truck release on a 03 accord ex v6. I connected everything else and it works fine, just can't find the wire. Anyone can tell me were to look. On the truck release it is a YELLOW /GREEN wire with one silver dot. I look on the harnass going to the rear of the vehicle and I see two YELLOW /GREEN wire with two silver dots. The wires are different gauges sizes. Anyone please, I am just getting fustrated

Ok I just got done ohming wires, and still can't find the wire that goes to the trunk release.....maybe I am dumb cause I know it is in front of my face and I can't see it. Help

the wire is the YELLOW /GREEN that is 14 or 16 guage. it's the thicker one of the two

Does it have a button for trunk release? Is there a pull lever next to driver seat? If that is the case there will probably will be no release motor at the trunk. I would pop that panel off to see if there is a motor there first before trying to find a wire that might not be there to begin with.
If there is a motor then test at the connector and then you can run a wire back or try to track it down in the driver kick somewhere.

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

It is just above the driver's kick panel in a loom that goes to the back of the vehicle. If you look at the trunk release motor on the trunk lid, you will see the size wire and the shade of YELLOW /GREEN you will need to look for in the wire loom.
