the wiring should be the same for the acc. circuit. be sure to test it first. be careful when connecting the sirius radio. most of the newer ones are only 5 volt input. if you look on the unit where the lead plugs in it should say the voltage requirement. if it is 5volts dont cut the plug off. either solder some leads on or get a 12v. recepticle to wire in

i bought the pro vehicle kit from sirius that comes with to wires...model # sir-pvk1...one for the 12volt and one for the 5 volt radios...they both have the red and black wire...for the acc and ground...but the other end is 3 pin for 12 volt and 2 pin for 5 volt that plug into a power box and then connect to the sirius radio...so they make it pretty hard to mess it up...thanks again

Personally I would wire Your sirius radio to the accessory wire behind the radio. I have a 02 explorer also w/sirius. When I first hooked it up to a different accessory wire, the sirius would turn off with the key, but the radio turned off when you opened the door.  Now that I rewired it to the accessory wire behind the radio it stays on with the radio and turns off with the radio.  Much better!!  As for the radar detector, thats up to you where and how you want to hook that up.  But for the sirius I would definetly go behind the radio.  The Trim around the radio just pulls off and there are 2 screws below the radio holding it in. Its real easy to pull out, it takes maybe 5 minutes. Unfortantly I cannot remember which wire was the accessory, you can easily test with a meter. I would test with the drivers door left open so the correct wire behind the radio would go off and on with the key with the door open.

Also jeffwhiteman makes a good point about the new radios using 5 volts. Check for that and follow his recommendations if it is 5 volts.
