I'm putting a Nokia bluetooth car kit in a 2005 Dodge Durango. Does the factory radio harness have a mute wire and if so what color?

there is no mute wire on the radio. you can, however; use the mute wire from the hands free kit (usually yellow) to trigger a relay that is connected the stereos accessory lead. when the phone is "in use" this wire goes neg. the relay will trigger and lift power from the radio and turn it off. after the call is completed the radio power will be restored. this will effectively "mute the radio". I am not sure what color the acc. wire is on your truck, it may be RED / white, but you can easily test for it.
