I just installed a remote start with power locks in my buddys wifes 03 hyundai elantra
i didnt use the Tach wire because the wire spec sheet i had DIDNT specify where the ECM was. i used the voltage sense, i hate doing that.
I wanted to know if anyone can tell me any info on where the ECM is in that car, as well as color, pin or anything else would be awsome.
also, i havent attempted it yet, but the remote start also has the ability to activate power locks, however the car does not have a lock/unlock button, its more like central locking, unlock the driver door, and the other doors unlock..
And in addition the diagram i have did not even specify locations or colors for the power lock/unlock on that car.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Fred

The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya
