long story short mechanics lien,new key,abandon title dealer wants 1500 for new smart control immobilizer system, I work for roush buddys told me resistor around power wire to control module make the module see's some draw has anyone tried this need help

if pathy means pathfinder. The dealer should be able to program a new key.... Why would you need the SECU?

dealer wants 1500 for new smart something and i just rather bypass the system enirely already have the key made.
