Does anyone know where the RED / orange wire that is in the factory harness that carries 12v constant is fused? I'm not getting power to those wires and I don't see any fuses blown. I want to see if I can find specifically where it lands.

Thanks,
Scott

try checking under your hood, there should be a plastic box  with a lid. when you remove this lid you should find a few fuses.   with out konwing what kind of car/harness it's hard to tell you exactly.

If you don't find the fuse in the power distribution center located under the hood next to the battery, there should be another fuse block inside the car. I haven't looked at an '06, but most cars have one including the three jeeps in my family.

Try looking under the steering wheel, above the pedals. Or on the side of the dashboard facing either the driver's or passenger's doors, there may be a removable panel. Wherever it is, should be within reach and not too difficult to find. The owner's manual will certainly tell you where to look, if not tell you where that specific fuse is.

I did find it. It is in the front fuse block under the hood. It is fuse 28. It is in a weird holder that holds two fuses. You must remove both in order to get to this one fuse. it is the 20amp of the two.

Thanks,
Scott
