I have a 1999 Ford Superduty F350 4x4 supercab. The cruise is not working at all. The dash light does not come on. I am not getting any codes thrown. The fuse is not blown and all wiring seems to be in good shape. The cable going to the throtle seems to be ok also. I had a factory recall for the vehical speed control done a few months ago and it did not affect my cruise, but I checked the jumper they installed and the 2 amp fuse was blown. I replaced it and it did not make any difference. I took the jumper completely out and plugged the factory wire back into the brake pressure switch and it made no difference. I tried a run down the road after each thing I changed or modified and made sure I was above 30 mph so the cruise would activate. I have run into a dead in since my Haynes manual is really vague on the cruise control. The only other option I have at this point is to replace the cruise control module. Can anybody tell me how to start tracing the power to find what part is bad. I have the wiring diagram, so any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jerry
Obviously something is wrong here. I can see 34 people have viewed my post and no replies. Is this in the wrong forum? Can a moderator move it to the right place or tell me it is wrong and I will post again in the right place. I just need help.
Thanks
