I have a 2008 Dodge Dakota. I have everything I need to hook up an aftermarket stereo. I am going to use the stock deck and I don't know which wires are the speaker wires and which wire is the remote turn on or amp turn on. Is there a adapter needed or what? If anyone knows a site for free wiring diagrams for my model or can e-mail some info on this, that would be great

New o8 Dakota's use the CANBUS to turn on the amplifiers. If you want a remote turn on you will need to use the switched ignition/acccessory wire from the ignition switch or the fuse panel.

Thanks for the help. A quick question. Would I be able to use the 12 volt switched power wire as my amp turn on instead of the ignition. It comes on when the key is turned back?????

Yes, use the ACCESSORY power if you want to.
