I can be driving and my 1995 dodge intrepid will stall and sometimes it will start back up but other times it will just crank over. i just put a new coil pack and wires and plugs on it trying to fix the prob but it did not work.deos anyone know what this problom could be?

is there a check engine light, go to autozone and they can read your codes for free. it could be a crankshaft sensor, or a camshaft sensor

I personally would leaning more towards Crank sensor but yeah man, try an automechanic....

ok now i have replaced the cranksenser and the fuel pump and the coil pack it runs as of now but it has a hard start to it and i cant find anyone to put a computer on it because everyone has obd 2 and i need an obd 1 connector because they did not do obd 2 in 95

you can do the on off method. insert the key in ignition and turn it to the run position, not crank, and do this on off on off on within 30 seconds and count the number of times the check engine light flashes, for instance 5flashes pause and 1flash means code 51. is the check engine light on, autozone should have an obd1 tester like i said they do it for FREE

hard start it will crank crank then it will fire to start but it seems like it is not fireing on all pistions at first.

ok thank you guys for your help i just ogt back in form working on on i think i got it now i drove it around and i am not getting the check engine lite now and it is starting on like the secound crank over . the problem was the first sparkplug was only gaped at .25 and needed to be gapped at .50

they should be at .048-.053in. or 1.2-1.3mm , for a 95 intrepid 3.3 engine and for a 3.3 .033-.038in or .8-.9mm . you probably didnt need a fuel pump
