I just finished an amp install on one of these today and thought I should relay the info on the wire harness for the factory premium radio.

Here it is:

2008 volkswagon r32 premium radio

12v constant    RED / white  radio harness

ground              brown(heavy gauge) radio harness

ignition             CANbus

ant                    na

amp turn-on   na

front left     green(+) brown(-) radio harness

front right   blue(+)  brown(-) radio harness

rear right  yellow(+) brown(-) radio harness

rear left     white(+)  brown(-)    radio harness
