Hello to all,
I am going to install an Apline head unit into a 2004 Buick Rendezvous (basic radio/no On Star).
I was hoping to connect the steering wheel controls and bypass the fatory amplifier as well.
I am not familiar with this vehicle and was hoping someone can explain what is required for the installation.
I am assuming that I will need the following:
1. Double din to single din adaptor
2. Antenna adaptor
3. Steering wheel module
4. Amp bypass module(or hardwire speakers if it is possible)
5. Male radio harness

I have searched the forums looking for a radio wiring guide and have not found any information.
If anyone is able to provide the radio wiring info that would be great!
Thanks to all in advance for any help.

Rovari

Scosche kit GM-K420, or Metra 99-2003.  Antenna Adapter Metra GM-10,

You'll need an interface because your warning chimes are audio controlled and there's no 12v acc power.

Interfaces:  Metra GMOS-01, or Peripheral GMCO.

The interface will retain the factory amplifier, but you can wire around it if you desire, just run speaker wires to each individual speaker.

Steering wheel interface:  PESWIAKJC for your alpine.

Is anyone aware of a dealer in Toronto that may have these acessories?
