Guys
This might be a little long please just read.

I own a 2004 Saturn Ion 2 and sometime last year I installed a Tv where the Dome light used to be. I noticed there was three wires one was hot 12volts one was ground of course and the other a white white was supposed to be the light that turn on when the doors open. When i cut them I heard something like a fuse blow and the doors never again registered on the center cluster. I figured i could leave it that way because maybe the doors would be registering anyway. (I wanted the Tv for the kids) posted_image Well of course I was wrong because recently they broke into the car and stole whatever they got their hands on. The alarm never went off. The doors don't register or work with the Factory pin switches or the Factory Alarm. I need the wiring diagram to this dome circuit so that i can fix it and then install an alarm that i saw on Alarmtek. Does the third wire I have taped up need power or does it see ground. does this wire activate the door open message on the cluster and the pin switches Is there a fuse i maybe blew and cant't find.   I need help I want to fix ASAP and put in An alarm before they attack again!!

The alarm was probably connected to the domelight wire instead of door pin switches.
The door triggers required are the light GREEN/ black wire in pin 45 in connector C4 in the BCM and the light blue wire in pin 44 in connector C4 in the BCM.
Use both wires and diode isolate each.
The BCM (Body Control Module) is part of the fuse/relay box in the lower center of the dash, just below the HVAC control assembly. It has the following connectors: C1-37 pin black plug, C2-38 pin gray plug, C3-56 pin black plug, C4-56 pin gray plug, and C5-6 pin gray plug.

Don't forget to replace your domelight fuse.
