08 with factory nav.... sold the nav, trying to install my old eclipse 5435. There is no harness available.... the only ones out are to RETAIN the factory amp (which is in the trash can).
I've nailed down the reverse, speedsense, backup cam, mic and gps antenna.
What I need now is basics.... power, ground, illum, acc, ect. Don't need speaker outputs (but would like to know which ones they are anyway).
There are 8 connectors in the factory harness.... I know what 6 of them do.
Unknown are:
white 4 pin (w/ a white and a black)
white 20 pin (shielded bundle of white, red, green, black) then blue, gray, lt blue, orange, violet, pink, 2 grays and a WHITE/ black stripe.
I can't seem to get any info on this particular setup. Any help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks- kj
The speaker wires would have been connected to the amp that is now in the trash. How many plugs were there on the amp? The shielded bundle of cables could have been the signal wires that feed signal to the input of the amplifier. The white 4 pin plug could be the steering wheel controls.
The amp isn't fed via rca... they are all digital. 4 sets of very small (probably 16-18g) wires. Don't really need to know speaker wires anyway though. If I did need them that badly I could remove the passenger seat once agan and check the harness down there.
I already have the wheel control wires... as well as the bluetooth mic, and back up cam, and speed and reverse.
I appreciate the help, but what I really need is someone that knows for sure what the plugs are. Mainly 12+, ground, illum, switched 12+ and turn on lead.
I have a pretty good idea, but just wanted confirmation b4 I go hacking all the connectors off.
Thanks- kj
or bypass the amplifier, which is above the gas pedal, thats another way, more work but also better to install it this way. its right above the gas pedal a silver color has about 4 10mm bolts holding it.

installers do it best. we got the magic hands!
Actually... the amplifier is under the passenger seat. And bypassing needs to be done at the head unit.... as I said, the signals are all digital waveform.
I have found all the info I needed.... for anyone who may need this in the future, here it is:

There are quite a few pdf's posted there that show every different type of factory setup and wire colors.
