Anyone know the diagram for hooking a relay for this 2008 Ford Explorer the wire is WHITE/ orange and it is a thin wire, and I am installing seat heater on both front seat, and that WHITE/ orange wire is too thin for hot wire. It need to be so that the seater heater come on when the key is switch on and it will turn off when the key is off.

WHITE/ Orange to terminal 86 with a toggle switch in line so you can manually turn the heater off. Ground terminal 85. 30 goes to your battery via a 10 Ga. wire and 20 amp fuse. 87 goes to the heating element of the seat. Ground the other end of the heating element.

Ok , but the seat heater has a on and off switch . There 2 wire coming from the seat heater hookup a red and a black , and i use the black for the ground. so that leave me the red wire to hookup to a relay because of the thin wire WHITE/ orange, need so it will turn on the seat heater and when turn the key off the seat heater will not still be on.
