Hi
I am starting to install a viper 5900 and its been awhile. This is the first remote start. does anyone have a good place to put the brain and then the XCRS relay satelite. Do you have to cut the wires to the ignition and insert the relay into the circuit or just tap into the circuit? the wires are huge and the wires to the key switch so small.
I went to the wiring page and downloaded the color code. I have a bypass

you will need to cut the starter wire unless you dont use the anti-grind. for all wires, including the starter wire, solder them from the relay pack into the ignition harness. dont use t-taps, not only are they poor at conducting electricity, they fall off.
