The BROWN / white wire is the wire that should be used to activate the parking lights.

Or the light blue in pin A2 at the gray connector of the BCM (negative signal) is also good.

Don't use the white at the switch or you'll get check engine light errors.

here from another post, I also do them this way

Parking lights:
--BROWN / white, positive, at switch
--Light blue, negative, at switch
