I am working on a remote start system for my 2003 Ford F250 6.0L diesel.  Wiring listed in searches doesn't appear to match the wire colors I am finding in the ignition harness.  Anyone have correct info for me?

Thanks,

Ryan

I do not have the ignition 1 (RED / green) but do have a blue green which was one of the wires that showed power with the key on, anyone know for sure short of me cutting it and seeing what doesn't work if this is an ignition wire on my truck?
Also, the chart above shows two gray / YELLOW wires, one as ignition, and one as accessory. I have one gray / YELLOW wire approx 10 gauge, as well as one WHITE/ yellow wire (thinner) approx 14 gauge. Would these be what's being referred to above, and does anyone have insight as to which would be accessory and which would be an ignition?
Thanks again,
Ryan

Do you have a volt meter?

Yes, I do have a DVM. My understanding was the accessory wires should drop off while cranking to make the extra available to the starter motor. Everything I tested seemed to stay hot (unless my meter isn't refreshing the voltage fast enough before the engine kicks over). I'm fairly certain of the wires I have tested what I need to be using but just not sure which should be on the ignition side vs the accessory side.

Does the ignition switch not turn backwards for accessory in that vehicle?

There is a note on the info above that I had overlooked, it reads as follows:  ON 6.0 DEISELS IGN#1 WIRE IS WHITE/ YELLOW

Key will turn backwards for accessory...and why I never thought of that I'll never know.  I have seen some other sites note that the diesel tach wire is WHITE/ green in harness behind parking brake held up by white tape.  I have this harness, but that color wire shows a constant 12 volt positive regardless of key position or engine running or not.  Is there another wire in this harness that would carry the tach or is the PCM the correct location for this?

Thanks, Ryan
