Looking for radio wiring for Ford Explorer 2007.
Especially small 16-pin plug.

What exactly are you trying to do?

I will replace the Ford radio by an aftermarket Radio with built-in navigation.
For that reason I try to find a VSS (speed-) signal. I hope to find it in the 16-pin plug because the Ford Radio has that speed volume feature. The signal somehow must come from this plug. The bigger plug is only for speakers and power.

Second reason is the audio (AUX) plug for mp3 players that comes installed in the car.
I'd like to use it with the new radio.

I will post a diagram and 2 photos:

the diagram ist not (!!!) exactly for my radio, but it's similar. Pin 14 (speed volume) is missing at my radio. Also there is no third plug at my radio.

Can someone explain, how Ford realized the radio's speed volume feature with my radio?

And what means SWC+ and SWC- at pin 18 and pin 19?
