just to help out, i applogize if out of context or off topic.
the 06 ford fusion has no remote (amp turn on)- if you must tap into the system use vehicle acc on, or tap in and use a toggle switch on either the constant 12.46 volt feed or the 5.44volt which are in the back of the deck. feed and i don't remember the colors of those.the rear speakers are brown and paired together left side has a yello stripe and the front are white based and taped in pairs -- base model stereo, (if you want to add boom to the factory. sys.)

as 12volt.com says test with meter before trying anything at all. and any advise is "as is where is"

The 5.44 volt output was enough to turn on amp...?
