hi, need help to locate the stereo wiring harness for a pontiac g5 2008? more especifically the color of the wire that turns on the amplifier, thanks

There is defitnely an amp in the car...? Are you wiring up a radio...?

If you are installing an aftermarket amp you need to get the "remote" wire from the fuse box.

hi, i want to change my head unit, but  my car has the pioneer sound system, which includes a 10"subwoofer, so it has  an amplifier, thats why i need to know which is the color of the wire to turn the amplifier on

If you did not cut the plug off of the factory harness, plug the factory radio back in and see if there is a wire that has 12 volts on it any time a CD or the radio is playing.   If you find such a wire, that would be the one you need.
