If you are looking for a speed signal, then go to the yellow/orange cable at the upper PCM plug at pin 3.
It comes from the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor. From there you will get the speed signal for navigation.

Thanks for the input Lucas, you might want to rethink the scotchlock as a method of connection. It being outside of the cabin exposes it to the elements. Inside the cabin they usually last, being under the hood and in the weather, I give it 3 years max.
This foto here shows the final connection. Much better protected as on the first foto and the scotchlock is closed now. The location of the PCM and the scotchlock is in a very protected area. As you can see, the plugs that plug into the PCM aren't protected at all by standard.

Please forget everything that I've posted above.
The signal that comes from the OSS-sensor doesn't work well.
It doesn't work at all at lower speeds.
Instead use pin #1 of the PCM plug in the middle. It's a vehicle speed out for the front wipers and works very well now for my 2007 Ford Explorer.

Why is someone buying a Ford Explorer (dumbed down Range Rover) when they can buy a reliable Range Rover in Germany for the same money? It's called a BMW X5 and its BLACK/ white to the vehicle's audio amp at the n/side rear. Scotchlock? 3 months before the vibration gets to it and please spray that loom with a water retarder.
Got my 2007 Explorer imported from Florida and for that price you don't even get a Ford Fiesta here in Germany.
A friend of mine had a Range Rover for a couple of years. This car was the worst one he ever owned. So much trouble! Now he is happy with his new Audi.
Wish you all the best from Cologne.
I was in silly mode, the Range Rover products are proof of the exception to the rule that you have to sell quality to do well in the US. ask Renault, Peugeot, Fiat Lancia and Alfa Romeo. Greetings to you lukas 2009.
To me reliabilty = Benz pre 97 and post 05, BMW post 98 and any Toyota, Honda, Nissan (UK build) Skoda (post VW) or Mits.
I've always wondered how Toyota, Honda and Nissan factories can export cars from the UK to Japan yet British product, (Rover Jaguar and Range Rover) in it's time made Citroen seem well made.
