I used each individual door trigger. two under the passenger kick plate for that side. One in driver's kick plate and one under the flashing by you knees below the column. They work great for my Amp Research Power Steps.

Did you program double pulse for your unlock or disarm? when you goto unlock the door if you hit the unlock button twice does the doors unlock?

I got it figured out, the unlock alarm wire was not connected properly, Thank you rich168. I got everything to work but not sure if there is a problem of what i did. I had to jump the ACCESSORY and the SECOND IGNITION wire for the AC to work when remote starting. The second ignition wire from the viper 5901 did not output +12v when remote starting. Doing what I did solved the issue BUT I am wondering if this will be a problem later on? Any and all input will be appreciated. Many thanks! ------------- 2010 Tundra

your 2nd ignition wire is pink/white? in the manual for the remote start i believe you can change the 2nd ign to 2nd acc wiring diagrams are nice but sometimes they can be wrong, ive come across plenty of cases when it says it is ign but ends up being a acc wire.

You are right about the 2nd ignition wire, its pink/white. I did try to change it to 2nd acc throught the alarm but no luck, it only outputs 0.2 v when starting, i guess its just enough to drive a relay (will i need a relay? ) Its working fine so far as i have it wired! ------------- 2010 Tundra

Just got mine installed yesterday. Working good so far. Only thing is i have to unlock the doors before i remote start because i can disarm the alarm with it running but it won't unlock the door with the truck running through the viper.... i think it might be a menu setting. Gonna have to look and make sure though. ------------- 2010 Tundra DC 5.7

Same thing is happening with my new Viper 5301, doors will not unlock while truck is running. Did you ever find a menu setting to work around this issue?
On page one of this post Richl68 lists alternate power unlock and power lock wires, wondering if this is the key to solve this problem.

I had the same problem on a 2007 Tundra. If you lock the truck with the Factory Remote or use the Driver Door lock button, it will disable the Unlock button at the doors and also the R/S's unlock pulse will be ignored. I would try using the Factory Alarm Disarm wire (Pink to Black in DKP, Blue 17 pin plug, Pin 16) if its there on your truck. Short of that, as soon as the truck is remote started, the Unlock will work again. ------------- Soldering is fun!
