Im looking for a wiring diagram for a 2000 dodge dakota. My headlights will not light up, even after they have been replaced and all fuses have been checked.

Do the parking lights work?  Have you looked into the failure rate of the light switch?

The parking lights do work, just fine. I have considered both the switch or a possible ground somewhere in the wiring. I figured I would trace out the wiring first since Im not sure how I would go about replacing the switch.

Sorry to sound anal but check ALL fuses, not just those marked with lighting icons. I recently lost inst. panel lighting, front and rear fogs on my Gallant. Rear fog light relay and fuse were OK, but I discovered that the rear running light fuse had blown and they were OEM wired in series!  Also look at switch.
