The information center in the Instrument panel that shows the mileage and the current gear lights stopped working all of the sudden. I determined that there is a wire not making a solid connection, but i have no clue which wire it is.
Anyone know the color of the wire that powers these lights?

How did you come to this conclusion ...?Does it blink on and off while driving...? If it does not come back on at all...have you checked the fuses...? Were you installing anything at the time it stopped working...? Do you have a DMM(digital multi-meter)...?

I figured out it was. BAd connection by taking the the dash apart and at first i just unplugged the harness for the i/p cluster and plugged it back in and the lights came back on. But then they turned off again as soon as i went to move it. The lights continued to do this as i moved the harness around. Im guessing one of the pins got messed up somehow. All the male pins looked fine, but one of the female pins may have a problem ,i just need to know which wire it is. And yes i have a dmm
You should be able to see a bad solder joint where the pins of the plug go through the circuit board. While in there, look for 4 surface mount resistors that have discolored the circuit board due to the heat that they produce. If you find them, put some more solder on them. I am banking on bad solder joints on the resistors.
