I'll answer my own post if that's OK.
I installed an UltraStart 3285XR Starter and used a iDatalink ADS-AL CA.
Which has to be flashed with the correct GM Firmware.
This selection allows a data2data connection with the vehicle eliminating a lot of wiring.
I'll include only the wiring I required.
RS UNIT
12Volt Red back of the fuse box
ING Pink Pin 14 (light green conn) BCM carefull there are also pink at pins 17 and 24 or you can get this from the ing switch harness.
ACC Brown Pin 21 (light green conn) BCM or you can get this from the ing switch harness.
STARTER Not required
TACH Not Required
LOCK/UNLOCK Not Required
DOOR/HOOD Not Required
BRAKE Light Blue/White Pin 6 (brown conn) BCM carefull there is also Light Blue/white at pin 4 or you can get this at the brake pedal switch.
PARKLIGHT Dark Blue Pin 24 (brown conn) BCM carefull there is also Dark Blue at pin 11
HORN Tan Pin 18 (brown conn) BCM carefull there is also Tan at pin 21
BYPASS UNIT
12VOLT Same as RS conn
PASSLOCK Pink/Black Pin 2 (Light green conn) BCM
DATA Dark Green Pin 10 (light blue conn) BCM carefull there is also Dark Green at pin 11
PK3 Cut and conn proper ends of Brown at PK3 module conn near ignition switch.
Notes:
Next install I'm going back to a compustar RS. I don't care for the LCD remote included in this package.
Easy install completely under the dash with great access to BCM and IGnition switches.
If looking at the wire side of the BCM connectors (the side the wires go into) the numbering system starts at the top (side with the spring clip), with 1 at the left and goes right then down to the next row.
Be sure to disconnect the vehicle battery before unplugging BCM Connectors.
Don't forget the horn even if you don't want it because with this RS you need it for programming.
