Hello I own a 2002 dodge ram 1500 crew cab 8 ft bed.

I need the backup lights wiring layout so i can tap into the backuplights for my rear camera

pos and neg is what i need please advise

It will be either in the vivcinity of the gearshift (auto) or test at the bulb at the rear, note the colour and find that colour at the floor loom,, probably beneath or in the driver's kick panel then retest.

You may have to get to the access opening for the lights, and use a meter to see which of the wires that connects to the reverse lamp bulb.  has a positive voltage on it when the reverse lamp is illuminated.

Ah hell Mr. I. I was going to do my bad cop routine here as in "if you have to ask this question, take it to a pro".
Follow Mr. Idiot's advice, turn on parking brake, turn on ignition ( NOT engine run) and test.
