I am trying to install a 1995 camero cruise control unit into a street rod with a 1992 camero drive train. I have the vss supplying a signal

to the ecm and the speedometer with no problems. I would now like to tap into the vss wiring to supply the cruise control but have not been able

to get a signal to the CC. The output for CC on 3 different ECM's don't give me a signal. My questions are : how can I connect the CC to the vss.

Can I even run a number different of accessories from one VSS without some type of splitter

Thank you in advance for any help

Typically the VSS wire is dark green@ the instrument cluster. But check to see if the speedo is mechanical (CABLE DRIVEN) or electronic

You should not need a splitter as long as the devices you are connecting to the VSS are high impedence (which they should be).

You also need to make sure the pulse outputs are the same, although it probably won't actually matter much with cruise control (since actual speed isn't important in most cases).
