Is there a particular piece of the instructions that are not clear? Or is it all unclear?

Yea i am having the same problem. These alarms are do not have clear wiring schematics. In my opinion there terrible and I have been asking these same questions for a couple of months now. I have a 98 Subaru Legacy Outback. With a HT-800D alarm. Many of the wires are confusing where they go. Here is a attached pic of the diagram which don't tell me where they go. The book does not say where these dead wires go.

Jessewag you're posting on a completely different topic.
Please make a separate post. Since to me this is an unknown brand to me, I'll hazard a guess and say you've marked out the lock/unlock wires.
P.S. If your unit uses oil pressure or similar voltage source for tach, it won't work and it's effectively a bin job.
Xitrum08, that Hornet is one of the easiest installs going, if you can't understand the instructions, get it installed professionally! Otherwise as Mr. I says tell us your exact problems.

my problem is not understanding,in the installation guide says if I want the current sensor works when open the door the alarm will sound,I have to program the remote, but in the manual does not say that,it just says whenever the vehicle has the interior lights when open the doors they will illuminate that can make the current sensor work,so I am stuck right there.

Don't ever use current sensor although actually it's a voltage monitor, they are extremely unstable. Use the door pin contacts and look up your vehicle in the vehicle wiring section here.

thank you howie,I will try to do connect to the door wire, but at first I have to find a place to mount the alarm, because there is no room under hood.

Also, carefully read page 7 of your instruction guide. This alarm is a joke. It's probably the most basic I've seen.

98 Plymouth Grand, yes I know it is simple but I do not know much about alarm and I don't want to take it to the dealer because they will cost too much.by the way, there is one more dump question:when I connect the wire to the dome light(interior lights)in order to have current sensor,do I need to cut any wire or just connect the wire from the alarm directly to the dome light?thank you so much.

There will be three wires going to the dome light, one is 12volt+ permanent, one is ground and one is ground switched when the doors are opened. The permanent is your power supply. Can't find room under the hood??? I think you will spend LESS money in the long term getting someone competent to install it for you.

Thank you Howie, but unfortunately i have no one that I know can do it for me.The alarm has 6 wires:(1)is 12volts that I will connect to the battery(2)is ground(3)is for the starter kill,I don't use that.(4)is the parking light,I don't need that(5)is LED I know that and (6)is going to the door trigger for the current sensor,so I will connect the wire current sensor from the alarm directly to the 12volt+ permanent or to the ground switched?sorry dump question again.

AGAIN, read page 7! That's where you connect your power supply for current sensing. Please this is ridiculous, take it and get someone to install it. I'd fit this in about 20 minutes.
