I am working with an 09 Chevy Aveo, and im tryin to find the disarm wire in the driver's side kick panel. It is a BROWN / Black wire. BUT it is nowhere to be found. Everytime i start the car with the car starter the alarm goes off after its rearmed. And when it doesnt go off and it work's fine, then the doorlock buttons on the key don't work while the car is running. The BROWN / black wire is number 81 but like the wire i can't find it.... anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem??

thanks....

to the original poster in this thread, disarm may also be lt blue in the kick, it would be found in the same location as the BROWN / black that you are looking for.  Look for a grey 24 pin connector.  As far as the keyless entry...do the remotes work once the car has been started and is running using the key?

To the second poster, connect the starter wire from the xk06 to the starter wire on the remote starter..... use solder and heatshrink, or a crimp camp, to make your connection.  No connection to the car is required for starting.  The vehicle will crank when it sees the ign wire switch to 12 volts and both accessory circuits drop out, as long as you are interfacing with the passlock circuit appropriately.

yeah i did that connect the starter from xk06 (orange wire) to starter wire from remote starter brain (purple)...i connect all the passlock wire..it is only two wire...yellow for the resistor code and ORANGE / black for ground...it that when i program the module...then connect brown wire to running while ground...i start the car with the remote..everything turn on...but the starter doesn't crank at all..i will order a new xk06 see if it program correct...cuz i just don't know what to do...

hi mitsu79-

Make sure you are using the right passlock type. Either passlock one/passlock two, the module is automatically set for passlock 3 out of the box. You can tell by the number of times the light flashes. IF it doesnt work with the remote start try starting it with the key, turn key off and then try with remote. See if this does anything for ya.Ill pick my brain a lil bit and see if i cant come up with anything else..

O and another thing! Make sure you have the right firmeware flashed in the module....

Hope it works and good luck!!
