Hello,
I have a Honda accord 05 american spec, the engine use to go off while the gear is on reverse specially when it is rainning or the wethear is cold. They say that it migh be the speed sensor that are malfunctioning.
Can someone help me locate them, or give me a suggestion.
There is a check engin light on and the diagnostic gave was the oxygen sensor from the exhaust.
thaks

Forget the speed sensor, follow up the diagnostic readings.

So why not change the sensor that comes up on the diagnostic? That's why it's there, so "they don't have to say what it might be"!

Who is "they"?
You should always start with the diagnostic code.
As t&t says, that's what it is there for.
From your description, I would not change the O2 sensor right away.
Check the wiring for the secondary (downstream) O2 circuit first.
I suspect that you have a frayed wire.

I think "they" would be the people who are wrongly diagnosing his problems! LOL!
