I'm looking for the pinouts for a 2004 Explorer Audiophile HU, Visteon, 4L2T-18C815-C*. I'm going to retro one into my 2003 and need to build a harness from WWC to PHASEII.

Thanks

Here the wiring diagram for the Audiophile system.

This may help in with assembling your wire harness

I'm pretty sure you need the one above but the following also listed for the 2004.

24 pin harness

16 pin harness

WOW, thanks...this should make it a breeze. You didn't by chance see anything about another connector with DVD or AUX or MUX feeds? I think it was an 8 pin connector but not completely sure. With this info it shouldn't be too hard for me to figure out the last few connections but every bit helps. Thanks again.

Are you looking for a diagram with the rear seat entertainment system?

Yes, I should have included that in my post. I have since found that there was more than 1 audiophile HU used that year. I think there should be 1 more connector that includes the audio channels from the RES but not sure how it's labeled. DVD Audio/AUX/MUX, something like that.

To clarify again, I'm just trying to find the info for the head unit, not the RES system itself. I guess it will be the info (if any) for C290B.
