I'm  fitting a anti hi jack sytem to a 2004 mercedes vito van diesel euro model . The wires needed to be used are the indicators and ignition cut that will cut the ignition dead. Along with the door pin wire for the drivers side Thanks

Don't cut the ignition cut the starter. Probably purple.
Use the dome (courtesy) for door contact.
Indicators will be BLACK/ white and BLACK/ green, in engine bay fuse box where you will probably also find the starter wire.
I haven't done one this late but I'm sure everything is CAN based on that year.

By the way, it was only ever a Euro model, earlier versions had everything you need on the wiring going to the drop down fuse box in the steering column cowling. Pick up door contact on a BROWN / white going up one of the "A" pillars.

Ok . But the starter is no good as an engine cut.

I need an ignition cut for the anti-hi jack. As it needs to cut the engine while it's  running. Cutting it in stages to a  gradual stop. Thus bringing the engine to a slow stop at the same time not losing power all at once to the brakes and power steering. This way the car will stop after a set time set by the timer on the anti -hi jack and not be come hard to control or crash. All the time the horn and indicators going off.

The only thing on the market meeting those requirements is a Clifford Blakjax.
If your Vito has the radio high up on the dash at an angle your OK
If the radio is lower with lock and courtesy light switches underneath it's CAN, go to the fuse box. They all changed over about Feb 05 but an 04 might still be non CAN
