I'm upgrading my factory radio cassette player to an aftermarket head unit. After pulling it apart, I'm stuck with identifying the radio cassette's wiring. I have already identified the speaker wires but I'm unsure about which wire is the 12V battery, ground and ignition wire.
(4 speaker wires, 3 unknown wires = total of 7 wires)
the three unknown wires are:
- white green
- red green
- blue green
can anybody give me the wiring diagram for the radio cassette player?
thanks!
------------- Jo.Dominic

TEST! Though I'll tell you now what you have are illumination, constant, and ACC you will need a separate ground wire (earth).
At a guess, white green = constant
RED / green = illumination
blue/green ACC.
------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.

thanks howie II! was really helpful!
the only thing I'm unsure of is the illumination wire. My aftermarket didin't come with any illumination wire. What do I do with the illumination wire that was wired on the factory head unit?
- Do I just leave them and tape it off?
- DO I have to connect it either a 12V source or ground?
