ok so here is the problem I have run into, got a friend who has a 2007 bmw 328xi coupe amplified system 6 speaker and 2 underseat subs, the info I pulled for wiring in the output converter did not match the plug or wiring from the factory amp. It is fed with what looks like a digital optical cable and there was no remote wire in the plug for turning the amp on. There was a large black plug with about 24 pins in it. The twisted pairs were there but there were 2 lots of the same colour codes for the yellow set and the blue set for the rear speakers. pics are posted;
the amp plug pictured above does not match any of the bmw amp pics I have been able to find. I also found this creature which I am sure feeds the subs as well pictured below;
So what I need is 1) what wires do I wire in the loc and 2) will the regular scoshe loc work for this application.

Bloody good luck there. You're holding the speaker leads in your hand in the photo, I'm guessing 4 satellites, 2 tweeters yellow/red and yellow/brown, blue/red and blue/brown are the fronts and blue / YELLOW and blue/brown and blue/white and blue/brown the rears) test whilst BLACK/ white and BLACK/ brown are probably the subs.
This unit uses CAN data switching, no pulse lead available.
The other box form those purple Fakra plugs looks like an antenna coupler, i.e.Nav. AM/FM Sirius etc.

Be very careful, the BLACK/ white and BLACK/ brown COULD be the CAN leads.

Looked at the down load, your first problem is that it shows the previous model, E46. Yours I believe (07) is an E90.
Secondly having looked at some pages in the down load I wouldn't trust something that makes me use blue butt connectors which are the wrong size any way.
Get your hands on a Mitchell guide for the right wiring, incidentally over here, we have about 3 different h/unit specs. on that car.

yeah I solder/shrink all the connections I make and I was aware that it was the previous model I just can not seem to get my hands on the correct wiring. I want to hook the output converter into the sub leads that way he can use those to adjust the sub I am adding. I am going to use a bussman bp/hhh fusetap to add the key on remote signal.
