Please help me with a wiring diagram for a rover 75 2.0 CDT 2001 LHD.
Is it necessary for me to know also which is the tachometer(engine speed) wire because it is requested for the remote starting. The alarm i intend to mount is CARVOX 2300C. Thank you verry much.

This mainly BMW wiring, try instrument panel, plug at rear, black wire or OBD ll socket A.K.A data connector pin 9 black.

Thanks lot the tip. It wasn't the black wire in the diagnostic socket but it was a wire from that connector. Now the next challenge that i have is the glow plug lamp wire (wait for start). It is really strange but i searched for it in the 2 connectors behind the instrument cluster and nothing. Maybe someone can help with that please.

No chance, probably DATA set up the Carvox as a diesel you might even be able to programme delay time.

I agree with you. I know that i have the possibility to set up the time but i was thinking to use the wire that i have in my alarm diagram. Is it really impossible for my car to use it?

And how many people on this site have ever heard of it?
I didn't even realise they had escaped the UK!
Never seen a diesel, did an R/S some years ago on one it was a right pain.

OK. Maybe i have been miss understood. I never wanted to say that you wouldn't want to help. The idea was that maybe someone else knows, but my English is not so good.
P.S. There are a lot of 75's and ZT's outside UK. Well, at least in Europe, but not many people really knows this kind of details.

It's just that no one is going to have the skill or knowledge base to do one apart from yourself!
There isn't a single listing on Directechs, none of the others, Avox/Code Bulldog etc. list them, nothing on this site, etc. etc.
I always considered them as a front wheel drive BMW 5 series with cheap/poor quality trims. The radio lead on some of them for instance started out as an ISO plug and ended up a BMW!
