I have searched and searched and searched some more. I have found at least 4 answers to this question and I can't seem to get total clarification on the answer. I'm installing a Carvox 2300 remote start/alarm system on my 95 Toyota Camry xle. I know that it is a negative door lock system. I know that there is apparently a child safety wire. What I don't understand is exactly how to hook it up.  I have the "Lock" function working, but it won't unlock. The unlock trigger wire from the alarm is "White". There is also a 2nd "Blue" wire for 2nd press unlock (Assuming to make the locks act like they do when unlocking from the driver's side door : Turn once, unlock the driver's door: turn a 2nd time, unlock all the doors.  I have seen 3 different wire colors listed (Dark GREEN/ Lt Green w.RED / Blue w.Red) , so I need help figuring this out.

If I don't need it, I can do without the 2nd unlock function, so my question is...How do I hook up the white wire so unlock ALL of the doors with the unlock feature? Am I connecting it to one wire, or am I connecting it to two wires?

Thanks

Try it this way.  Grab the Lock and Unlock wires in the passanger kick panel and add this AudioVox wiring :  https://documents.audiovox.com/700691.pdf

that helps. Now the question remains, Which wire is the child safety wire and what diodes do I get to complete that diagram?

The diodes are 1N4001 ( 1N4004 will also work ) and available at the "shack".

AudioVox gives only this information :

Child Safety Wire        BLUE/RED OR BLUE/GREEN

No location given.

OK, I "sort of" have it working. I put a diode on both the white (unlock) and blue (2nd unlock) wires of the alarm. Attached the unlock wire of the Alarm to the Dk Green wire in the driver's side kick panel, and attached the 2nd unlock wire of the alarm to the Solid Blue wire in the driver's side kick panel. Both of these wires are located in the Blue harness.  I say that it "Sort of" works, because I have to hit unlock 2 times to get it to unlock the doors, would like to make it so that I only have to hit unlock once. I am also running into another problem. The alarm is not seeing the doors as closed. The guy at the local install shop said that I must have the polarity reversed. My alarm has both a negative and positive output for door trigger, but I have the negative output of the alarm connected to the negative wire on the car (RED / White top right corner of fuse panel behind air duct). None of the diagrams I have found show a positive door trigger. It's really frustrating cuz the alarm goes off 5 secs after I lock the doors, then I have to hit unlock and lock again which causes it to bypass the door trigger.

Is the CarVox unit programmable for "Double Unlock pulse"?  The other way is to use the UnLock wire in the Passanger Kick Panel as suggested above.  That wire will unlock all doors with one unlock pulse.

Yes, it's programable to double pulse, but to no avail, there was no change.

I reversed the polarity and hooked the positive wire of the alarm to the "so called" negative wire of the car for the door trigger. That didn't fix the problem. Every time I arm it, the alarm goes off 5 secs later, showing the shock sensor and doors open. The brain apparently has a tilt sensor built in so I put it as flat as I could, turned the shock sensor up from level 3 to level 6 out of a possible 8 and it still does it. I even disconnected the door trigger wire completely and it still goes off as soon as I arm it. OOOOHHHH frustrating!!!
