This will be my first alarm install ever, i've been around electronics alot and i've done alot of car audio and i know my good amount of car wiring. just have a few questions.

i've got a Autopage RS-650 plus and i don't have the manual but luckily i found the one for the RS-650 online. (its not the plus) but idk what the big deal with the "plus" is??

here is the install.PDF i found
https://www.autopageusa.com/resources/RS-650_install.pdf

and here is a guide for my year civic sedan
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~84528

how hard is it to install? and would i just kinda tap into the original wiring and solder the alarms wiring like lets say door locks on the 20 pin connector under the dash? according to that guide? or whats the easiest way to do it

Don't "tap" solder everything but test each first.

That labour charge is much too low.

so you think that's a pretty good deal? i don't live in a real big city tho. i guess it's decent for the work they are doing.

I've got the alarm installed.

it works but i can't find the door pins or parking lights on the honda civic harness.

plus it keeps auto locking after 60 seconds. i think its the passive alarm or some crap like that. how do i disable that for good? i don't have the ignition stuff hooked up

and my alarm only had 500 milliamps for the door locks and my vehicle requires 750 milliamps. it says that there is some relays or something i can use to make up for the milliamps it needs. what do i need to do

and i can't get it into alarm programming feature or nothing.

i'm guessing because my ignition wires aren't hooked up? or what.

Door pins on 01 Civic
White plug on top of driver's kick panel.
Fuse box
Instrument panel, the wire going to door open warning light.
Connect up ignition and door pin and you will be able to program.
I can assure you the door locks only require about 100 milliamps.
Stop panicking, realise you're doing something wrong it wasn't as easy as you thought and take a deep breath.

Ignition 1 to the car's BLACK / YELLOW wire. You won't need the starter since you're not doing an R/S.

List the wires on the unit and to what you've connected so far.

There's no point in me telling you because all the info is on the link you posted on I believe your second post.
For doors and lights go to the green plug at the top of the DKP
You've got green, light GREEN/ red and GREEN / WHITE diode together for your doors and blue neg. going for your lights. I've already given you the ignition colour at least once.

i can't find the door pin wires on the factory alarm plug. you say its white but the only white one i see has like 4 or 5 wires and that doesn't have any colors that are green or green with white according to the diagrams.

i have noticed that when i open my doors when the car is on. i don't have a door open warning. its like my car doesn't have one..

i still can't get it into program mode even after hooking up ignition 1 wire!
