This is my first time doing a remote start so it took me almost all weekend and my brain is fried. That being said. I am now trying to get the bypass to work. I bought the Autopage C3-RS-603 and the iDATALNINK ADS-TB. I have everything working. Which I was pretty proud of for my first time. But, now I can not for the life of me get the bypass programmed or working. Can someone confirm to me where I need to put the wires. I know there are two 5pin green connectors under the column on the key but which one do I tap into? Just the top one or both? Also I am running the blue/white " ground-out when running" h3/10 Yellow on the remote start, is that right? If someone could tell me where each wire goes and how to program this thing that would be awesome. Also, which mode to I need for the bypass, I am not sure what the difference is from data mode and standard mode, I tried both. Thank you in advance, hopefully I can put my car back together tonight.

Sorry for the delay...

The ADS TB bypass module should be flashed with the ADS-TB-HA1 (V1.22) firmware.  I'm not sure if the ADS TB modules come from the factory with any Firmware loaded.  A special USB cable is required to flash the firmware onto the module.

I would wire it in the W2W mode, making the +12v, Gound and GWR wire connections between the remote start and the bypass.  I would use the C3-RS-603s' H3 White Ground When Running wire for the connection to the ADS TB Blue/White GWR wire.  You will program it for "Standard Mode" operation, two blinks.  Just follow the Type 1 install diagram.

As for the Green 5 Pin connector, identify it by the wire colors and their location.  Pin 1 should test as an Ignition wire and should be Yellow/Black in color.  Pin 2 should be Red, Pin 3 should be Blue and Pin 4 should be BROWN / Black.  You will only connect the bypass to the one, correct 5 Pin connector.

Programming is very easy.
1. Insert key into ignition.
2. Turn key to ON position.
3. Wait, ADS TB LED will turn solid GREEN for 2 seconds.
4. Turn key to OFF position.
That's it.  Test with a remote start.

Thanks, I went to the shop I bought from and they updated the firmware. Then I was able to get it hooked up and working. I was super excited to have it working and decided to clean up and hide all the wires. After I did that I tried the unit again, and nothing worked. Door locks, trunk, nothing. The unit wouldn't respond to any presses on the fobs. I checked all my grounds and power, which all check out. I also checked my fuses, which were also good. I am stumped, everything appears to be working and even if a wire was loose as long as the unit itself has a good power and ground then it should at least respond , maybe not work, but respond. I filled out an RMA but if there is anything else I could try so I don't have to send it in that would be awesome. Thanks for any help.

Not familiar with the C3-RS-603 unit...  Check your antenna leads ( both ends ).  I have done that on occasion when I neaten the wires and stick the antenna to the windshield.   If all else fails, reseat all connectors.

Ya I did that like 3 or 4 times with all connections. I was at the point where my brain was failing due to lack of sleep and remote start install RAGE. posted_image I was thinking maybe the unit just went bad since even when it was working I couldn't use the white h3/7 for ground no matter what I did so I used the yellow h3/10, which worked, when it was working. I have setup an RMA so if worse comes to worse I will just get a new one. I am not going to rewire it all so I hope they accept just the unit and key fobs and don't want all the wires. I bought it from .... not sure how they are about RMA's. Any other ideas, should I try to reset it to factory? I know when I first plugged it in before any programming the door locks and trunk worked fine, only thing to program was the tach. For a first install this is quite the learning experience.

Meter from your ground to all the POS inputs, check antenna connections, go into programming and make sure the remotes haven't gone out of synch.

I decided to RMA it. I tried to reprogram both remotes multiple times and it would not take. I also reset the unit back to default. It seemed like the unit itself was still working but no matter what I did I could not get it to receive info from the remotes. I looked at the antenna and all the connections and it all seemed to be fine. On another note I did get my new car stereo with steering wheel remote controls working :-). It was a much easier install. Also, what does POS stand for?

Positive, i.e. 12v+. Not P.O.S. (= piece of s***t).
