i have a a real good one here,i have a 2003 ford expedition eddie beaur that when the drivers power seat is all the way back ,the radio works as it should all controls from the steering wheel work properly, when the seat is moved up (half way up the track) the radio will intermittently switch or scan channels, any movement by the driver in the seat and just by tapping on the brakes or tapping on the seat bottom with your hand will set the scan or switching of the radio channels ,but when the seat is all the way back it dosent do it ,,what is under the seat for controls of modules the would interfer with the switching of the stations ,this also has the flip down screen for the dvd monitor ,,also is there a diagram where it breaks down where the connections are located for the scan or station changing circuits

thanks in advance    garrett

You may have an rf modulator for dvd monitor under the seat

Are there any radio controls mounted in the rear of the Console?  If so disconnect the plug from the rear of the radio, It will not be the plug in the corner of the radio.

On the unit behind the seat, are there any controls on that controller that will make the radio scan?  If not, there is no need to disconnect it.  I was thinking that there may be a pinched cable under the seat.  If there is nothing on that unit that will make the radio scan, that may not be your problem.
