I plan on installing a Rosta Cruise Control, Model 250-1799, in a 2008 Kia Rio this weekend. It looks pretty straight forword, and I figure 4-5 hours to install this. Has anyone installed one of these? Am I close on the time to do it? Any pointers? ------------- When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Can't help with times but could I please point out something? If this isn't an electronic throttle, your linkage to the throttle cable is the be all and end all, just like adding power locks, it's the easy pulling you're looking for. Do that first and everything else will fall into place easily.
------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Thanks for the reply Howie. I don't believe it has electronic throttle. It's going into my son-in-laws car. Unfortunately, both my daughter and son-in-law knowledge of automobiles stops at the filler cap for gas. So I will have to find out when I get to the Twin Cities to find out for sure. Thanks for the insight.

My first curise control. Went well. Took 4 hours. Son-in law very happy. Don't tighten the throttle nut too tight, makes the gas pedel stick.
