Hi,
This is request for any wiring information for a remote start for a Nissan Elgrand ATE-50 Year 2000, these MPV's intended for the Japanese market but are getting more and more common in Europe especially in the uk.
I intend to install a viper 9051
Any help would be much appreciated.

Actually dead easy if you're experienced, pretty standard with no surprises, but it's really a case of DMM and test. Look for a second starter wire and possibly a 1 wire neg to lock and open circuit to unlock OR vice versa, I can't remember, don't think there will be any factory immobilisers.
2 points:-
1) Don't you mean a 5091?
2) I thought you need a Cat 1 or a Cat 2 immobiliser to insure it.

Thanks for your info, got me numbers wrong Viper 5901.
Some Elgrand's have factory fitted immobiliser has a option I believe but mine has a Sterling Excel fitted, can I keep this if I want to give the remote start option a go ? point taken about the cat 2 immobiliser will I need a universal bypass unit 556U.

Guessing your knowledge level from your answer especially ref. the Sterling immobiliser, don't even think of attempting this yourself.

If it has a POS Sterling (as in I could get around that in about 1 minute) why would it have a factory immobiliser?
