I need help knowing which are for the:

2) +12 V Ignition
3) dash dimmer

Thanks

Has the plug already been cut off of the wires?  If not, do not do it.  You can purchase the harness for 15 dollars.  It has been a long time, but I think Yellow/Red and WHITE/ Blue are constant and switched 12 volts.

Yeah, I cut it off and I have the part to reconnect. That's where I'm stuck at because the dash light no longer work / the warning signal for when I leave the lights on but get out of the car.

I'll try that combo. Thanks.

White with blue = 12v+ constant 7.5amp fuse under hood. Also clock
yellow with red = 12v+ ACC under dash fuse box.
red with black = Illumination, you may have shorted this one*
red = ? = RED / green = Right front +
black = Ground (0v)
gray with black = Left front -
red with green = Right front +
brown with black = Right front -
blue ? = blue/green = Left front +
blue with yellow = Left rear +
gray with white = Left rear -
red with yellow = Right rear +
brown with white = Right rear -

The above would have taken Mr. I or myself less time to find these out than to write them down using a good old test light.
Dash light, actually running or side lights depending on which side of the Atlantic you're from to buzzer to ground through door switch. Does your dome light come on when you open the driver's door? If not it's the driver's door switch at fault especially those awful corroding slide switches.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
