1999 Nissan Bassara Axis Stereo Wiring

OK, after using this site for a while it's time to give back. The following is the factory vehicle radio wiring for a 1999 Nissan Bassara Axis (Japan). Likely, this will apply to the Pressage and R'nessa as they are similar platforms.

Constant 12+                            Yellow (split into two wires out of harness)

Switched 12+                            Red (split into two wires out of harness)

Ground                                      Black (split into two wires out of harness)

Illumination                                Green - , Orange +

Dimmer                                     N/A (could be wrong, but I did not find one)

Antenna                                     Blue - (reads - when keys are turned to acc or on/start)

Speakers                                   +                                        -

Front Left                                   White                                WHITE/ Black Stripe

Front Right                                Gray                                  Gray/ Black Stripe

Rear Left                                   Light Green                       BLACK/ Yellow Stripe

Rear Right                                Yellow (not bright yellow)  BLACK/ Pink Stripe
