I'm sorry I forgot to mention that my car already has a factory anit theft system/keyless entry, I was wanting to just remove it from the car.

Or would it be best to just leave it in and bypass or addon to it. I really hate the horn honking everytime I unlock/lock the doors.

So are you just installing a remote starter or is the unit a combo alar/remote starter ? If it's a combo unit you are installing then you should remove the old system by cutting the wires off the harness ( but make sure you leave about 3 " on the wire so you can splice the new system in ).
