Hello,
I wanted to wire a relay to cut my fuel injectors for hyper-miling purposes. Does any body know if there is a common wire that I would be able to use to cut off all of them? I do not want to reboot my electronics every time I kill the engine, so I would prefer just killing the injectors.

Yes but this is so dangerous I'm not even going to give you an answer, except you wouldn't need a relay, a simple on off switch would do.

It's really not that dangerous. Many hyper milers use this technique of engine off coasting. I already do this with the key switch, I just wanted a way to do this without turning my key to reboot the ecu.

If I mention a way to cut off the fuel supply, I get booted off of this forum, any switch or connection breakdown and you're f*****d!*
Why do you think immobilisers cut the bloody starter!
Anyway it's moot because what you and these "other" hyper milers obviously don't know and yes this is counter intuitive is that with a modern fuel injected engine if you coast in gear NOT neutral, your fuel supply shuts off even though you might be doing 2000RPM or more. I think the technical term is over run shut down.
*Fault codes etc., negating warrantee.
And don't you dare be in front of me on an expressway!

We are very aware of "DFCO" or deceleration fuel cutoff. However, it is not as efficient as neutral coasting. When you coast in gear, you are engine breaking, which negates the effect of the fuel cut off. We've done tests... have you? And obviously, the system would be done in a manner so that if the switch fails, the fuel injectors would run normally, you just wouldn't be able to kill them.
Many people have already rigged up safe fuel injector cut off systems for their cars. I'm sorry you have such strong feelings about this issue. I just thought this forum would be a good place to ask.
